Muahahaha. Buy my stinky games!
I happen to be one of the few people in the world that likes the smell of cigarette smoke.
I do too. I have asthma though. Smoking is a bit out of question...

For a short play session:

Glass of water

For long play sessions (RPGS or couch session):

Glass of water, maybe a cup of tea
Cereal or something easy and clean to snack on
Dimmed lights

For those special occasions I'll go outside and smoke some weed before hand. Rarely do anymore though, especially with my taste in games leaning more towards skill-based games instead of open-world single player ones.

Me too! If I stay in a smoker's house for any long period of time, it acts up.

1- No distractions!
2- A coke
3- repeat step 2
4- A correct balance between the background music of the game and the sound efects (messing around the sound options a bit)
5- a computer if i get stuck for a long long time...

If i going to eat something must be a sandwitch, is not messy and is easy to eat, and i love them :P

I don't eat when I game, but I need something to drink, usually diet soda or water, but occasionally tea or a beer. I also need a comfy chair and I prefer to game alone unless it's a multiplayer game. Generally I'm playing games to relax these days.

Laptop and booze. Or a bong of I'm not drinking. That is all.

Although I typically will be wearing as little as possible when I'm just lounging around the house, so I guess a comfy blanket if I get cold.

I'm not sure what it is, but when I'm drinking mountain dew voltage, and playing some of my fav games I tend to get very amped and concentrated as well as get a nice comforting feeling. Like for example whenever i start panzer dragoon saga.

when Im watching the opening i just get zoned in and really into it the mood of that game and story is fantastic especially right when the game starts and your on foot underground it has a amazing felling like I'm in the game and I'm just zoooned in big time!

I highly recommend anyone out there who has not played this game and like rpg's try to play it its pretty amazing with or without the hype.

question? off subject.

Anyone recommend a saturn Rpg for my girlfriend this will be her first rpg on the saturn?

I was thinking maybe Magic knight rayearth? I have not played this game yet She would not like shining in the holy ark, dragonforce ect.

she likes final fantasy 13 13-2...legend of legaia

Depends on the gametype. But almost always I have a cup of water and a soda or cider. I rarely eat while gaming, I just take a quick break. Now if I am playing a simcity like game, well everything is thrown out the window. We use to play Simcity 1 in shifts when it came out. I was eating dinner when I had my first natural earthquake. That scared the crap out of me.

But if it is a party and we are playing party games, well chips and cheese dip, just away from the console. Im not anal about people wiping their hands, I just bought a second set of controllers so they can destroy them.

You are awesome, but please don't talk about parties, chips, anuses, and hands in the same sentence ever again.

Only two things for me:

TIME

NO INTERRUPTIONS

And that's it. If I feel the urge for a glass of water or a snack, I can get it on my own time. If I want to play for three hours on end, I can. It's basically the same thing as peace and quiet, but with large flickering images and a shit ton of noise.

For me it's that or either:

FRIENDS

Not the show/or the game (although I still find it over the top cutesy and watchable), but people. I actually prefer a room full of friends over an empty one.
