Thoughts on the original Resident Evil?

The Resident Evil Remake on Gamecube is better in nearly every single way imaginable, though. Especially the graphics, and especially the lighting effects. They did such cool things with the lighting in the remake. And they added just enough for it to feel like a new experience, without crapping all over the original gameplay or story.

Yeah, while I loved the original RE at the time, the Gamecube remake really is the definitive version. Fantastic game.
