Prohibition in the States ended in the early 30's. The height of prohibition was during the 1920's. And it's not a "what I do with my body" situation. There's a reason the term "drug related death" extends beyond people who use drugs. Even sillier, people like to justify drug use with "I pay my taxes". Well, so what? You want a pat on the back for doing something everyone is legally required to do?

Look, we all break the law from time to time (just about everyone breaks the speed limit daily), but to say the war on drugs is dumb is asinine.

You sir are a grade a jerk because my facts were a lil off and it ws a lil in the 30s anyway as you said but how the hell does me smoking pot in my house not harming anyone relate to someone elsrs death? And no i dont want a pat on my back for doing the same as anyone else who is responsible but the fact that theres alot of people who dont that do actual crime i just go to work everyday play games when i get home and smoke pot how am i harming anyone or doing anything different than someone who drinks? Im not a criminal and i shouldnt be afraid to do what i want by myself to relax when people drink or even people that dont do anything why should i be punished for doing nothing different than those people?

One thing I always love about this site is that people who learned English as a second language still do their best with grammar and punctuation, and if someone does slip up a member is quick to add "Hey man, English isn't his native tongue".

I think "grade a jerk" is almost as good of an idea as the "apartment car". You could go to "www.gradeajerk.com" and vote on how big a jerk Chris Brown and other celebrities are.
