Lol, I would of just said tough shit. You sold it to me.
Well of course I did. But, as with many people on the internet. He was a whiny asshole who just wouldn't shut the hell up. Finally after not replying for 4 messages he left me alone.

Not only just people on the internet, but people in general are whiny assholes. Working in retail has taught me just how bad the human race really is.
I agree the 5 pound refund was generous and probably more than they deserved, but that's done I suppose. I guess the guy didn't have Word to read DOCs. A PDF will work, but you could also send as Rich Text (RTF) as well.

Great. This dork is making Mac users look dumb. Word documents open in quick look, preview, and textedit. Unless he literally means he only has a "Mac" as in a Macintosh from 1990.
Well I sent him a word doc and a pdf, so he should be able to open at least one of those.
I won another console on Sunday, and I clearly got shilled in the bidding. After having a bit of a freak out at the seller - he said 'do you want it or not?', I looked at the price of £25 (for a boxed MD2 with 14 games) and thought actually thats not a bad deal even with the shilling. It was a bit awkward when I went to pick it up though

You'd be surprised what people still have running.

In the late 90s I knew someone that had a vintage 1986 breadbox Mac functioning as an internet gateway in a closet.
