I never even heard of them until a "friend" who decided to start hating Nickelback and other mainstream shit told me about them, then i looked up a song and cried.

Dunno, i still like Nickelback, hating Nickelback seems to be the new cool thing in hating music, but then people listen to shit like "The Decemberists" but it wouldnt surprise me if people liked them who hate Nickelback lol.

What I was amazed with was that Beast Wars actually holds up better than Transformers. I thought the primitive by today's standards CGI would kill the show for me, but I still liked it. (Dinobot....you shall forever be in our hearts)

I was on board with you up until this point. I've actually tried re-watching Transformers multiple times, and I cannot get into it. But as far as Beast Wars is concerned, I find it every bit as boring, if not more-so. The characters are all cliched or annoying (or both) and the stories are all boring. If you are strictly talking about how well the CGI has held up, I definitely agree, I think it still looks nice. Sorry if I'm ripping on one of your favorite shows, I guess I'm more disappointed that I really want to like it (and the original), but I still can't.

As far as Nickelback is concerned, I've hated them since they started sucking/playing music. I didn't realize it was a "new" fad to hate them. Maybe those people only recently heard their music.
