NES Top Loader power adapter confusion

Snip the plug off, switch the wires, and splice it back together. Then of course label the brick that the polarity is reversed.

And to make it a little easier for yourself, splice the wire in the middle and not toward one end. That way you'll always have enough wire to work with in case you wanna swap it back, or if your splicing job gets messed up and you have to redo it.
