I did not think of that one idea I read there, the idea of selling an account. ie, getting an account to 1,000 feedback, 100%, and then selling that ebay id / account to someone who needs a good account to sell their high-value items, that makes some sense as far as a long term gain.
The piece about the government subsidizing the postage - I didn't know that, makes sense though, knowing some of the politics involved there. I saw a few people concerned on the ebay thread that we (USA) are shipping these items for "free", that wouldn't be the case of course, being subsidized means the Chinese government pays the shipping for that business, however there is still postage paid for, it isn't "free-free".
