That's a good point. I'd still like to pick up a SNES mouse, 1st party Genesis 6 button controller, and a boot disc for the Dreamcast. Okay, after those three things it's just games.
It's terrible isn't it? I've got a saturn I hardly have any games for because I've been getting it all set up with an AR, two multitaps, and an s-video cord. Still need 2 light guns, 12 controllers, 2 arcade sticks, and a TV on its side for tate.

I like to get accessories taken care of early on.
Whoa!!!!!!!!!!! I play mostly single-player turn-based JRPGs so I usually don't need much in the way of accessories. And because of my colorblindness, I tend to not care about video hookups as much as other people. Now that we're talking about the Saturn though, I should pick up one of those 3D controllers. The list grows...

Some others I can personally suggest: Rhyme Rider Kerorican, Ultraman, Guilty Gear Petit 2, Golden Axe, Gunpey EX, Harobots, Makaimura, and the holy grail of WSC, Judgement Silversword. That one is going to cost you a lot though. Good game but not worth the price in my opinion. There's also a slew of Gundam and Super Robot Wars games if that's your thing.

Is the language barrier an issue for you? If not, there is some good RPG action to be had. Langrisser, Arc The Lad, Vaitz Blade, Namco Wars, Front Mission, Chocobo's Dungeon, Blue Wing Blitz... WonderSwan has a very solid library.

One thing I might suggest is to avoid the Rockman games though, they're pretty bad.

edit: Oh, one more thing, if you do get any of the FF games, make sure to at least get FF I. The WS remake is probably my favorite version of the game, it's awesome.

AW MAN! I forgot the 3D controllers! On the up side I guess that means I need less regular controllers...

Language barrier is no problem, I can read Japanese. I just ordered FF II.

I had no idea there was a Langrisser game! I'll certainly try to track that one down. Is there anywhere to buy WS games online besides individual ebay and amazon sellers?

aww man, you totally beat me to this post idea.

I was going to make a post like this when my collection reached 900 games.

Well, as I've been slowly updating my game list it looks like so far I've reached 1000+ games in my personal collection. This doesn't count anything in my trade list. 8)

http://www.genkivideogames.com/wonderswan/

Play-Asia occasionally gets used WS games for decent prices.

EBay seller game_agora has a lot of WS games for good prices (although he tends to jack up the prices on very rare games, like SRW Compact 3 and the WonderWitch developed titles when he has them), and will combine shipping costs. A good handful of my WS collection came from him.

I wonder if Racketboy would be interested in a Wonderswan Games guide. I could probably do a pretty good one.

My goal is 750. It's only at 630 right now, but I can find 120 more once I factor in PC Engine and current gen stuff.

I never had a number in mind when I started. My collection is simply to get games that I think are fun. If I don't think it is fun its not in the collection.

The biggest milestone for me was when I found my Neo Geo cab. I had been looking and keeping an eye out, then out of now where it popped up 15 minutes away and in good shape with a great monitor. I though it would take me many more years to get one.

And getting my Giga Wing 2 Naomi setup as that is my favorite shmup.
