It'll take me a while to get into the groove on how it works. I'll try to play it when I can (after I get it) but this week is going to be absolutely awful for me. Speech tomorrow, a test and three quizzes later this week, a skit next week, and three programs due next week too.
Not to mention finals. >_<

Re: Mario Kart 7 - RB Online Meetup Thread
I played some 1 on 1 community grand prixs today and had a lot of fun. It's a nice change from 8 player chaotic races. Being able to focus on beating one opponent is something I always like in a competition.
The first opponent I raced was a beginner. He didn't do the boost at the start at all, for example. I completely destroyed him for 3 races and then he disconnected during the last race.
After that, I played against someone with 3 stars by their name. This guy was very good. Better than me, easily. I somehow managed to tie him though. It was very intense back and forth, and trying to outsmart each other. Very fun.
Neither of these were in the Racketboy community, but now I have a decent idea of how the communities work. It would be really cool if we could all plan a time to gather and do some community races together. Even if we only had a few people, it would be great.

If you've played any other Mario Karts, you know enough to properly compete already. Post your 3DS friend code.winds wrote:I wouldn't mind getting in on some of this action. I need to get some single player in first though or i'll just be embarassing myself online haha.

Haha unfortunately I haven't played a mario kart game since super mario kart and mario kart 64. Hopefully the gameplay is similar enough i'll be able to pick it up quickly.

Just found out today how to unlock the golden kart. You must get 10,000 VR from racing online.
No, I don't know what the stats on the golden kart are.

You're clearly not playing enough. (Says the guy that doesn't even have the game yet.)Inazuma wrote:Just found out today how to unlock the golden kart. You must get 10,000 VR from racing online.
