I love Chopin
I love video games
I can enjoy many JRPGs
I could not get into Eternal Sonata at all...it was pretty but souless, and took an interesting premise and did nothing interesting with it.

I find it hard to get into the current gen traditional JRPGs. I mean, I love JRPGs, but if I want to play an RPG following the typical mold, I'll bust out the SNES or the PS1. When I play one on my PS3, I expect at least something new. Stuff like Eternal Sonata, Star Ocean 4, the Atelier games, Ar Tonelico, and the Idea Factory games just feel so incredibly bland and lazy.

If you're going to copy a 15 year old formula, you need to do it exceptionally well to keep someone's interest that's been used to the formula since the beginning. Very few turn based JRPGs in the PS3 era have managed to do this for me. The Tales games, Lost Odyssey, and Enchanted Arms are all I can think of.
