Anyways, go for Skyrim and Skyward Sword, specially if you can't play MW3 online.

It certainly seems like no one here has any high hopes for future releases eh?

Do you want 12 year-olds calling you names while you play?
No.
Zelda:Skyward Sword

Do you want to waggle like mad and make lots of arrow shooting motions?
No.
Assassin's Creed Revelations
Do you want to play a slight variation of the same game you've likely played three times already?
Yes, but in the form of Gradius VI or Thunder Force VII. ;)
Skyrim
Do you want to engage in a hundred plus hours of exploring a pretty world while fighting a poor combat engine and a zillion of those trademark Bethesda bugs?
Yes, Yes, YES! I would like to acquire this game when it hits about the $20 mark or less. I'm one of those crazy guys who likes Elder Scrolls games.

To the OP... why bother with any of these games, when you could get some awesome 8-bit, 16-bit or 32-bit games? Sell that $150 gamecard to someone and put that money towards a PC Engine. :)

I'd say Skyrim or Skyward Sword. I don't like Assassin's Creed anymore, and Call of Duty has become just clone after clone after clone.

Why all the hate on Bethesda? I point out, the engine is a large problem. Skyrim has a new engine, and ideally fewer glitches. Oblivion, it had few game breaking glitches, and Morrowind had few to none. The Fallouts? I hate them, but from what I've played they are much, much worse. And the combat system isn't poor. I don't get how people call that.
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360

WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

I'd also go Skyrim and Skyward Sword, with Assassin's Creed following up very close. Its true that AC games tend to drop in price within a couple of months for whatever reason, so you should wait a bit and take advantage of that. Elder Scrolls and Zelda will most certainly keep you busy in the meantime. If you've got some bucks leftover on your gift cards, maybe pick up a handheld game.

I understand the difficulty here though. There are far too many games that I want that all came out/will come out between October-December. Its craziness. Where's the money? Where's the time?

I'm holding off on just about everything in favor of Sonic Generations (which I got on Tuesday) and Skyrim next week.

because I already have a Turbo Duo and although I collect older stuff I want to use the giftcards to buy $150 worth of stuff. I have a hard enough time getting to Gamestop let alone take a nutshot so someone can buy the cards off of me for much less than they're worth.

If only ebay still let you use store gift cards to pay for auctions...

I dropped $60 on Dark Souls, first new release I've bought in a while, and I've spent more time playing the copy of Kirby's Adventure I found for $10.

So I definitely fall into that steriotype

I think the last new release I bought was Legend of the Dragoon. There might have been something in the PS2/XBOX gen, but I'm pretty sure I bought them all secondhand or if still new (i.e. unopened) years after they were released.

I once bought brand new, Demon's Souls for PS3. The game was way too overhyped and I thought it was terrible so I sold it and I don't regret it. I have BAD games, but that one really pissed me off.

Exactly, don't say "THERE ARE KIDS PLAYING WITH MICS DONT BUY IT FFS" when you can easily mute or block anyone.
