Or KoF where they just stopped allowing time to pass to prevent specific characters from aging out of the high school range. Lame.
Yeah I bet Kula is still 14 by KoF 35 LOL!!! Or how they decided to Loli up Athena to middle school status as she was starting to mature in the later 2000 KoFers..
I think it'd be cool if they actually allowed the characters to age. It worked really well for Mark of the Wolves. Seeing Terry older and more mature was a highlight in a game already full of highlights.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Okay, thread revival time. I just went ahead and pre-ordered the PS3 version on Amazon and was quite pleased to not only receive a $10 credit but also release day delivery for free.

Happiness is bypassing Gamestop altogther.

Who else has this on tap?

did you get the LE or the standard? How much are they through Amazon? I definitely want it, but was planning to wait a bit for a price drop. ($40 is my sweet spot for PS3 games unless it's something really special or important to me that I can't wait for).

Standard. I never bother with limited editions.

It was the usual $59.99 but the ten dollar amazon credit softens that a bit, as does the release day delivery if you have prime and order today.

There are only a few games I will spend full retail on but Soul Calibur is one of them.

yeah I'm gonna wait a bit. Fighting-wise I'm actually way more excited for SFxTekken and DOA5.

For some reason the LE of SC V doesn't have release day shipping.. I'm thinking of deleting my preorder and getting the regular..

Dang another reason to get a PS3 or 360. The list of fighters that interest me is a growing.

I dropped $80 on the Collector's Edition and went with Best Buy because I get an extra character. GameStop gets you an Ivy Bobblehead. Nothing I want. And Amazon gets you a nice $10 credit.

Also went with Best Buy for FFXIII-2 Collector's Edition because I get an extra book with some backstory or something. :D
