I have plenty of older slower internal burners, which you generally want slow for game burns anyway. I'd be happy to send one your way for shipping costs if you have a tower to put it in. I'm not sure if I have any spare laptop burners, but those you generally have to attack the bits that are specific to that laptop for them to work and not look like crap. What exactly is broken on the drive you have? I guess PM me if you want.

I THINK he only has a laptop, so he's probably gonna need a USB burner.

True, might be able to find an old enclosure for cheap or free. Heck, maybe even one with an old obsolete burner in it that will be fine for slow burning.
