Why does youtube allow video like this to appear?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I hate when people think something is bad just because someone else told them it's bad. It's important to understand why something is bad. If there is no reason, then it's not actually bad.
why do you assume that I think something's bad because SOMEBODY ELSE told me it was? I'm 30 years old, and can actually form my own opinions just like you can form your own.

...and are you honestly asking me to explain to you why I think an 8 year old shouldn't be allowed to watch porn???

When I find myself in a really dark place, usually after drinking bourbon and smoking hydro in the early morning hours, searching YouTube results for "cadaver autopsy" and "dead baby" help put things in perspective.

I'd rephrase that as "Do you think it is healthy for an 8 year old to watch porn?". Pretty sure Izzy thinks any and everything should be allowable.

edit* and for some reason, every time I start to type youtube into my browser it comes up as youtube.com's kreayshawn Gucci Gucci video. I've watched that video maybe three times. I've watched Nathan's Madeon video at least a dozen times and it isn't in my browser. It's weird.

The kid may not even be interested in porn since he hasn't gone through puberty. But once he starts developing an interest, he should be able to watch it. It's educational. His parents should teach him about pregnancy and STDs, so he knows to be careful. Sex is part of life and the kid should learn about it just like any other part of life. Watching porn won't fuck up his mind like some people say. Not educating him about sex will fuck him up, however.

Same deal with curse words and violence. Education is much better than trying to "protect" your kid from this stuff. Confront reality and educate your kid to be able to do the same.

Not sure if IE will do this, but in FF if you point to or arrow down to that one you don't care about you can hit delete to remove it from the remembered list.

SIGH.

Do we have to have the "kids should be allowed to watch porn" debate again? We all know it's going to go precisely nowhere.

I very much agree that sexual education should be a priority, and I also think that the government should never have a hand in censorship, but in a world of prevalent and rising STD rates among teenagers and increasing sexual experimentation, I have to question whether education and parenting is the only answer. What a parent should do and what a parent does are often very, very different things, and some solutions are more easily obtainable than others.

I'm jumping into a trap, so I'll leave it at that. We all know where Inazuma can take a topic. I can't seem to avoid falling for it no matter how sporadically I post.

One of the many things I have forgotten since updating FF about a dozen times. But thanks!

noiseredux wrote:ah yes, I remember the NY Duck Ripper. That movie is definitely intense. I like it's basically Fulci's gross-out take on one of Argento's man-in-black-gloves films. But yeah. Kind of rough to sit through more than once.
I've only seen it once but I did like it (In a very contradictory way), it's a pretty disturbing slasher film with a fantastic main theme but that's it.
