It never did, so about 2 weeks ago I preordered it from Best Buy... then last Friday I got an email saying that my preorder was cancelled. Well crap... I preordered the limited edition from KMart and Target... hopefully one of those will work. Once one ships, I'll cancel the other (or if they both ship, I'll sell one on ebay). Sigh.. at least I'll have a couple more days to catch up on my backlog.
I was just holding a Limited edition at my local game store. I didn't feel like forza was one of those games I needed a special edition of. Didn't feel like I was getting much for the extra $20. :?

Since I ordered mine on amazon it'll be here some time next week.

From what i'm hearing it is getting some pretty positive reviews. Do I need Live Gold to get on the auction house and play against friends?

I'm not sure about the auction house, but to race against other people you'll need Gold.

not sure about the auction house, but you definitely need gold to play online, just like every other game.

This looks amazing. Makes GT5 look like a second rate PS2 game.

yeah, it's amazing what 1,000,000 polygons will do.

What I don't understand is what caused the large delay for GT5? Was it due to changed design plans? Capturing the engine noises from each car?

All over all, it was a let down for me. So far, I'm loving Forza 4
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?
