But the arcade rooms were awesome.

That was the greatest place on Earth from ages 5-11 for me! Co-op Super Mario Bros. Arcade, TMNT Arcade, Golden Axe, Street Fighter II, and tons of other miscellaneous arcades. Plus you got pizza and soda which is the food of the Gods at that age. And when you ran out of tokens and your parents refused to give no more, you still could have a blast in the ball pit and jump room.Ziggy587 wrote:I hated Chuck E. Cheese.
I would never go into the ball pit since there was a rumor kids pissed in them all the time. Probably just an urban legend.BurningDoom wrote:you still could have a blast in the ball pit.
I had less indoor chores than some of my friends, but my parents have nearly an acre lot that's wooded so lots of weaving around trees with a (self propelled) walk behind mower as well as a lot of edging. No wussy little suburban yard that can be mowed in 15 minutes. I just thought of something else I got money for. As long as I smashed all of the cans, I got the money from turning those in. It would usually be 40+ pounds of cans by the time we'd go so it was a decent amount of money.Ziggy587 wrote:Wait, wait... I thought it was automatically assumed that an allowance was in return for doing chores. You mean to tell me there's people that are getting an allowance for doing nothing!?
