That top screen looks a little lonely. It needs an attachment too. Maybe a car battery?

They just need to call it 3DS Motion+, bundle it with a game, and tell everyone it was how the 3DS was intended to work all along.

I can't believe this. I could forgive them for the price drop, but this thing is an absolute slap in the face to anyone who bought the original 3DS at full price. I don't think I've ever known a company to fuck things up this badly.
EDIT: People are saying it's specifically for Monster Hunter.
I hope it stays that way for the foreseeable future ¬_¬
