Real Bout Special: Dominated Mind was amazing. However, I found the hard way that the skills I acquired with it don't translate to the rest of the Fatal Fury series.
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure was great fun on the PS1. It has less frames of animation (the Dreamcast is better in that department), but the storymode is better, and there are more extras.
Bushido Blade should be mentioned here too, for its uniqueness.

Re: Favorite PS1 fighters?
Well let's see....
I have Soul Blade (aka Soul Edge) and that's still a great looking game on the PS1. But I will admit it's kinda tough to go back to after playing all the newer Soul Calibur games.
I have X-Men vs Street Fighter. But of course this is the gimped version. Saturn got the best port.
I have Mortal Kombat 4. But the N64 version is way better. And of course there's MK Gold on DC!
I have Dead or Alive. It's still a fun game. But I'd rather play the "Ultimate version" on oXbox.
I also have the Street Fighter Collection 1 & 2 discs. But after buying the Capcom Classic Collections & Street Fighter Alpha Anthology on PS2 it doesn't leave me with many reasons to play these anymore. But I keep them for collecting purposes since I got 'em for a decent price.
That really only leaves me with the Battle Arena Toshinden games. They're good games, I enjoy them. But I never felt they were anything special

Re: Favorite PS1 fighters?
Tekken 3. I like fighters on dreamcast/saturn better excep of course the billion hours i put into tekken 3...
Re: Favorite PS1 fighters?
I have been thinking about this as I have be wanting to get a PSone system. I think I will defiantly go with the Tekken games,Fatal Fury Wild Ambition and Rival Schools. I wonder if we could put together a list of PS1 exclusive fighters. If I have a choice of getting it on the Saturn I will, but I still want to explore the great PS1 fighters.
After this and another thread I am really wanting a PSone.

Maybe I'm weird, but I really liked Street Fighter EX plus Alpha.

Tekken 3 and Street Fighter Alpha 3. But my opinion shouldn't matter, because those are the only two titles I even have for the PSX.

I love actually having a ps1, my ps2 can't be tricked into playing imports quite as easily.bryan_65 wrote:I have been thinking about this as I have be wanting to get a PSone system.
