I picked up Fallout: New Vegas. I hate it, has all the same problems as Fallout 3, just as sad. I think I will trade it in and pick up Episodes from Liberty City, Deathsmiles, or something else that catches my eye for 20 bucks. Damn, I'm kinda regretting this one...
Systems: Game Boy, Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, N64, Gamecube, Xbox 360

WTB: Boxes for a silver Gamecube System(and a hyperport cover), and a box for an Ice Blue N64 console. Will pay 7.50 for each and shipping.

:(

Sorry to hear that. A lot of people (Myself included) thought New Vegas was a lot more lighthearted than 3 in many different ways. If you don't mind my asking, what exactly was it that made it too depressing?

The general feel, and the cannibalism, and ghouls. The talking ghouls freak me the hell out. I also hated the bleakness of everything, and other gameplay related things... IDK, I prefer Elder Scrolls to Fallout. I like Mad Max movies, and I would compare that to the type of game I want, but Fallout feels more like The Road, which is a frickin' sad movie.

Alrighty. Well, it's unfortunate to say but I don't think there will ever be a Fallout game that doesn't have those things.

Actually, New Vegas and 3 are pretty tame, in the first games you could actually kill children  .

I know, I'm weird. I like post apocalyptic stuff, and I like retro-futurism, and I normally am not affected by this stuff, but something about it bothers me.... I need to play some other kind of post apocalyptic game I guess. Oh, and I found this, and it seems appropriate. BTW, this is uber awesomesauce.
