Hah I don't have to worry about that. The controller in question doesn't seem to work.

I wonder if the master system base would work ontop of a 32x.....

Not yet. A strange technical issue blocks master system and 32x used together.

Funny enough it is possible to enable those modes on sega nomad too. though either attachment would be quite NOT portable, while 32x needs external power and will only normally display through TV out...
