apparently Ono had everyone in the audience who wanted a new Darkstalkers game to hold up a $10 or $20 bill and took a picture to show Capcom. $10-$20 is the price range for a PSN game. So I'm sure he has something in mind similar to SSFIIHD... perhaps Chaos Tower HD.

Remember that capcom didn't do any sprite work for that game. It was all Udon.

The music was fanmade too (OCRemix), while we're at it.

I'm not arguing about anything, just agreeing with wip3out that 2.5d seems more likely to me if this were to happen.

Well, it was on the strength of ST HDR's sale that SFIV got commissioned, it could theoretically work once more. I mean, expectations would have to be lower as towards
its drawing power, as obviously, it's not SFII, but if a HD makeover does well, say 50,000+,
I could see Capcom investing in another installment.

Especially since they can just reuse the Street Fighter IV engine if they do decide to make a new game after the HD remix sells well enough.

so it has been announced that Darkstalkers is coming to PSN. But as far as I can tell, it's just the PS1 game. No HD. No online. Big whoop.

HOPEFULLY this points to more NEW Darkstalkers related stuff happening in the near future though.
