Yeah, like he said, G+ is like LinkedIn and Facebook, but more accessible and feature-rich than the former and more professional and cleaner than the latter.noiseredux wrote:hmm. That is actually sort of intriguing for use in the recent venture I've been working on...

I'll think about it. I don't want to get an update everytime you eat an orange or put on yr shoes or something, though.

Okay, but I can't make any promises about peaches or boots.noiseredux wrote:I'll think about it. I don't want to get an update everytime you eat an orange or put on yr shoes or something, though.

One thing I forgot to mention is that not only you have control over what you share, but you also have control over what you see. So if a "friend" is sharing too much crap about their daily habits, you can move them to a category and then filter them from your constant feed.noiseredux wrote:I'll think about it. Back in ancient times when I still used facebook (I started in the time when it still required a college email to sign up), people's stupid updates on the most mundane things always drove me fucking crazy.

Facebook implemented it too, allowing you to hide them from you feed. Suffice it to say, when that happened, I immediately hid about 30 people who are friends but say the most inane things ever.CFFJR wrote:Now that's a good god damn idea.o.pwuaioc wrote:One thing I forgot to mention is that not only you have control over what you share, but you also have control over what you see. Re: Google+ Invite Request Thread
I really don't care about this, though I've gotten a few invites. I am hoping it dies a quick death so I never have to bother. If it does catch on, I'll probably have to sign up to check it all out...*sigh*
