It seems like only yesterday that Gamestation (UK game store in a similar vein to Gamestop in the US) was selling copies of Final Fantasy VII for a fiver. Then BANG a couple of years later, I couldn't see the game in any stores and Ebay prices were up to a ridiculous amount. Retro games shops were also selling it as silly prices.
I agree with those saying obscure RPGs and Adventures games etc will probably appreciate in value. I guess games like Shadow of Colossus, Okami, and the Persona games may eventually go up. Or not... What do I know? lol

Agree, look at PS2 REZ when the HD 360 version came out.
