Yikes, almost sounds like something I could have. lolKillerJuan77 wrote:I wouldn't say that... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chronic_fatigue_syndrome
I've lived with that 5 years (Ever since I was 14-15 years old)and it's HORRIBLE, I saw over 5 doctors until one actually had a diagnostic and a "cure" (Sleeping pills).
But I do know for a fact I have major insomnia anyways.

Re: Falling Asleep
I've fallen asleep in-between races on a game once. I think it was Project Gotham Racing on the oXbox, but I'm not sure. All of a sudden I woke up to some dreadful music loop playing over and over again and I'm like "omg, wtf is that stupid music?" and then I realized I had fallen asleep with the game still on.
I think that's the only time it ever happened to me

Re: Falling Asleep
Warrior's post reminded me of the time I fell asleep playing the last quarter of Forza 3. Damn races towards the end of career mode take about 25-30 minutes to finish...
Re: Falling Asleep
Well if you ever get a chance I would recommend AC2 and Brotherhood, they pretty much picked up the first game and changed everything that was bad about it. The biggest problem they fixed was how repetitive it was, which I'm guessing is what made it so boring for you.KillerJuan77 wrote:I did finish Assassin's Creed. Ditto for me.AppleQueso wrote:If I've ever fallen asleep during a game it was probably because I was simply really tired.
Re: Falling Asleep
I used to fall asleep with a controller in hand all the time when I was younger. I'd stay up playing Genesis games as late as I possibly could and would wake up in a slouched position with whatever game still running.
Re: Falling Asleep
sure have. back when Final fantasy 7 dropped, i had gotten my first apartment and remember trying to grind thru it after 10-12 hour work days. More than a few of the CG cutscenes i slept thru and still to this day have no idea how much i missed. that's really the only game i'm guilty of sleeping at the controller
Re: Falling Asleep
My girlfriend plays RPGs until she passes out on the couch quite often. Her times often end up maxing out the clock or scoring in the hundreds of hours because she loads a game late at night, play for two hours, and then sleeps for eight with it on.
Re: Falling Asleep
Alright, I will say I fell asleep once watching my friend play the beginning of Xenogears.
But I'm pretty sure I've never fallen asleep when I'm playing something myself.
