I wish they would of left the arcade visits in. It gave a nice break from the main game being played. Still, I'm happy its here.

Great show it was funny watching him try different things. BTW it's available outside of the U.S. since I can watch it, but it's probably exclusive to North America. At least the Kotaku version of the show.

I've been trying really hard not to buy any cartridge based systems because of the space hog they would be. But after watching this, I really, really, really want to own a nes again....

This week The Kacho takes on Solomon's Key. This game befuddled me throughout my childhood. I was really good at videogames back then, but I could never complete Solomon's Key. I would always get stuck on level 46 and have no idea what to do. Amazingly, Arino pulls it off (with a little help and some really long thinking sessions and team meetings). This episode looked like hard work.

Not available to us in the Eurozone.
This makes me very sad...
(I remember watching the Takeshi's Castle episode, (the one where he had to wait for hours until he could do anything) and loving it, and wishing it was in english)

There's no way around that? There has to be some way for you to be able to see it!

So I just watched one of the Kotaku episodes. That voice-over guy is absolutely terrible. Normally i don't get it when people say things should stay in their original japanese and just be subbed, but in this case, I happily agree. It is nice that we finally get some more episodes in english, but I wish theyed just subbed the narrator aswell

.
If they were gonna use an english voice over, they could've done a slightly more effective translation. 'Using a 'hit and away' tactic'? You mean hit and run? It sometimes seems like a very literal translation

Love the weird pacing to fit with the original japanese too XD
'Arino moves flawlessly at first (long pause) but soon enough, he is chased by Them....again.'
