I think of it as separate from the actual series of course, but like I said above, it just feels like a high budget fan game. When I first played it, I was pretty entertained by it. I certainly wouldn't replay it or anything, but the core gameplay is classic Silent Hill, and I found that appealing, even though the things that TRULY make a Silent Hill game (plot, characters) were completely and utterly absent.
Trying not to derail the thread more than it already is. That seems to happen whenever I see "Silent Hill" mentioned.
