Really? I've only played Odin Sphere and Grim Grimoire, but both of those games had plenty of stubstance for me even if I did tire of gardening in Odin Sphere.Gamerforlife wrote: That's a deal breaker, they seem to specialize in style over substance games.

yeah. I think the game looks cool, but the boobs are so ridiculously huge it just looks silly to me. Not sexy.AppleQueso wrote:depends on how 'sexy' you find absurd body proportions.Veno wrote:I say the sexier, the better.

Muramasa has plenty of substance; a fun battle system and challenging fights.J T wrote:Really? The more I look at the Sorceress, the more I'm reminded of Jessica Rabbit for some reason.
I guess it makes sense - she's not bad, she's just drawn that way.

Yeah, she's got that crazy top-heavy thing going on. But it's not the first time Vanillaware's done it. Check out the kitsunes from Muramasa.

Re: Dragon's Crown
I've wanted to try that, but Odin Sphere left a bad taste in my mouth and I read a poor review of Muramasa somewhere. How's Grim Grimoire? That's like a 2D RTS game isn't it? I'm told it has no checkpoints which seems like a bad idea in a game with long, tough levelsMrPopo wrote:Muramasa has plenty of substance; a fun battle system and challenging fights.J T wrote:Really? Trust me (if you will), Muramasa is miles and miles beyond Odin Sphere.Gamerforlife wrote:I've wanted to try that, but Odin Sphere left a bad taste in my life and I read a poor review of Muramasa somewhere.

Muramasa is sick. It's the only game I've ever played that felt like Samurai X.brunoafh wrote:Trust me (if you will), Muramasa is miles and miles beyond Odin Sphere.Gamerforlife wrote:I've wanted to try that, but Odin Sphere left a bad taste in my life and I read a poor review of Muramasa somewhere.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?
Re: Dragon's Crown
Yeah, I had a lot of issues with the combat in Odin Sphere, but Muramasa's combat is extremely fluid and fun to play.brunoafh wrote:Trust me (if you will), Muramasa is miles and miles beyond Odin Sphere.Gamerforlife wrote:I've wanted to try that, but Odin Sphere left a bad taste in my life and I read a poor review of Muramasa somewhere.
