Lunar Silver Star Story CIB (PS) and Dragon Warrior 3 (GBC) with a strategy guide on GBC are my biggest regrets. At least I got decent prices for them. I traded Warlocked (GBC), Metal Gear (GBC), and Breath of Fire III (GBA) for peanuts. At least I literally got a happy meal for Final Fantasy Tactics (GBA).

Worst are the games that were lent or swapped that never came back. Bangai-O (DC), Final Fantasy III (SNES), ChronoTrigger (SNES).... and a decade ago or so I threw a Virtual Boy and handful of games I bought on clearance a year after it's release in the garbage.

Mega Man Legends of PSX. I was just looking recently to get it back, and it's going on for around $30 used on the low-end. Not extravagently priced, but when I originally bought it I got for like $5 on the bargain rack when Mega Man X4 (or maybe it was X5) was like $40 used. So it kind of sucks paying more for a game than I originally did to reaquire it. And it's not one I've been able to find locally.

That must really burn.

My number one regret would be getting rid of my entire PS2 collection to buy an N64 and a 360. I still have the N64, and I enjoyed the 360 while it lasted, but still, I ended up really missing my PS2. I've gotten back everything I got rid of that I still want, but it would have been better if I had just saved up for the other stuff instead of trading for it.

I let go of Final Fantasy 2 for Snes, with the box  It was in great condition too. I was just missing the manual, and I had really needed money as I just returned from a month long tour with my band. I didn't work for a month, and I think I paid my cell phone bill with the FF2 money....what a sad day

I've never sold any game stuff. I was always afraid I'd want it later. It could take a long time to save for another console though.

For most of my life I kept boxes too, but there are a few boxes I've gotten rid of because I wasn't thinking. Got rid of a Mario Kart Double Dash plus a Gamecube and two controllers box. I kept the Gamecube's box, but not the big box it was all inside of. Oh well.

christ, i feel your pain!

my regrets don't lie so much in selling as they do giving away. FF7 black label, mint Atari 2600, complete SNES w/ FF2 cart and probably a few other loose ps1 games since there were a few i don't recall what happened to. most of this happened 10+ years ago, so i had no idea what these things might have been worth... or more importantly, how much it'd cost to buy new ones years later!

When I was around 8 I had quite the extensive NES Mega Man collection along with Mega Man Legends. Yea I sold them to Gamestop back when they took NES games. Regret that all the time.
