Family guy-ish humor aside, the sad part is it's true on that one. Can Tetris and it's clones actually be beaten? I've actually gotten to something like level 122 in Columns.

I think GSC Game World, the guys behind STALKER, were Ukrainian. As for other international efforts there was this awful MMO called Regnum Online and it was produced by a team in Argentina and the game Mazes of Fate on the GBA was also made by a team in Argentina. And because I'm currently playing through it, Metro 2033 was also produced by a team of Ukrainians.

Excuse me, they're from Ukraine.

It's just that, what with it being based on a Soviet Russian story and a Russian film, and with the television series appearing in Russia, and the games releasing in Russia first, I got a bit confused.

Ukraine and Poland are going to be major players in the video game industry in the future imo.

This reminds me... Mount&Blade was made originally developed by some Turkish guy and his wife.

Metro 2033 is also by a Ukrainean dev. And Crysis is German.
