Re: Local Gamestop Item Search thread
So I called that Gamestop the other day and it turns out the Gamecube component cables were mislabeled and were actually those universal component cables they sell.
Thwarted again!

There is a component cable about 33 miles away from me. Worth pursuing?

That far it's probably worth calling to make sure it really is the cable. Ask if it has RGB plugs and Nintendo stamped on the plug. Then hope that whomever you talk to doesn't look it up and then the cable is mysteriously misplaced before you get there.Soldier Blue wrote:There is a component cable about 33 miles away from me. That's a very important thing to ask. One time I didn't ask anything beyond "do you have them in stock?" and they turned out to be Xbox 360 cords when I got there.Hobie-wan wrote:That far it's probably worth calling to make sure it really is the cable. BTW, I searched for the PS2 stand, the GCN broadband adapter, and Lufia. The nearest PS2 stand is 50 or so miles away, and Lufia and the adapter aren't within 100 miles.

Nothing within 100 miles. I think you should know, Gamestop has been getting rid of their GBA stock. You might as well get out of the habit of buying GBA stuff there.Nintendork666 wrote:http://www.gamestop.com/gba/games/jet-grind-radio/26292
