So Aquaria just hit Steam, for only $16 right now. The game also got a patch just last week with some major enhancements. Good to see him still supporting it. I just bought it. That original $30 point seemed a tad high for me, but this is just fine.
2D beauty for PC - Aquaria
Re: 2D beauty for PC - Aquaria
Wow, this game looks promising. I hope that they go through with the Linux client. I wouldn't imagine it taking too much effort, seeing as the game is already available for Mac OS (which obviously means that the game uses OpenGL).

I gatta say, with the kind of support this guy is giving the game, I'm surprised it doesn't have complete 360 controller support. It's kinda...halfway supported. You can't fully navigate menus as far as I can tell. The mouse is still needed to interact with a few things. The "look" function wasn't even set to a button, and it's kind of an important feature. There may be other things you have to configure yourself.

I was hoping for a DS port but it seems the author is hesitant about many things (retail and XBLA/PSN for instance).

I really liked it, it wasn't perfect but even though I spent some text discussing things I didn't like in my review, they're fairly minor compared to what it does right.
