Not yet. *knocks on wood*
I feel for your loss, though. I'd be devastated and pissed at the same time. I hate it when console break down, but to lose one without that even happening is worse. Sorry man.

The owner must of secretly called the cops on him and stalled him long enough for them to arrive, otherwise I don't see why he would paid the thief to pawn the item and then just give it back to you for free.avrame wrote:Had a PSP taken from my room at my old apartment (one of the reasons I moved). I had a ground floor room, but always had a thick piece of wood barring the window so the most it could open 2-3 inches, enough to let air in and enough to keep people out.
I went to the bathroom, and heard someone run off as I opened my door again. Apparently 2-3 inches is enough for someone's arm to reach in and grab stuff on my computer desk.
Called the pawn shops, gave a brief description of my PSP, and noted that I engraved my name behind the battery cover, offered a $20 reward on it. Got a call two hours later that the guy tried to pawn it off, got my PSP back, owner of the shop wouldn't take the $20 reward from me.

Yeah, I'm over it though. I wouldn't mind another one but I honestly don't trust PSP's. I'll stick to the amazing DS.
Going through deleting inactive accounts of mine as a security precaution. No hard feelings, but admins, if it is possible to delete this account, please do so. Thanks in advance!

Maybe they mentioned that they knew it was stolen because the owner had already called and described it and the thief just booked?saturnfan wrote:The owner must of secretly called the cops on him and stalled him long enough for them to arrive, otherwise I don't see why he would paid the thief to pawn the item and then just give it back to you for free.

Nah, the guy was arrested, just as saturnfan described. Never did see the guys face though.Hobie-wan wrote:Maybe they mentioned that they knew it was stolen because the owner had already called and described it and the thief just booked?saturnfan wrote:The owner must of secretly called the cops on him and stalled him long enough for them to arrive, otherwise I don't see why he would paid the thief to pawn the item and then just give it back to you for free.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

Holy crap. Hopefully he dropped the duffel bag when he heard the warning shot, before he went in the water.cookie monster wrote: i grabbed my 12 gauge and chased him through the pasture to the river he made it in the water so i gave him a warning shot and told him he better get outta the water

When I was a freshman in college I bought loz ocarina of time when it just came out
I was about 75% through the game when it disappeared from my dorm room
I finally finished it years later when I got bonus disc with windwaker preorder
In my second year of college( actually my freshman year again cause my first year I didn't pass, too much partying) I lent a casual aquatance panzer dragoon saga
It wasn't worth too much at the time yet
He left school soon after and I never saw him again
I bought another copy soon after luckily just before the prices skyrocketed
Im sure that fat bastard made a killing off my game
