I should've been more clear about the price in the title: I live in Europe, and the game sells here for 40-50 euros, around 55-65$. For that money, I could also buy a new PS3 game

I bought a MGS3:snake eater (the copy from this collection http://www.amazon.com/Metal-Gear-Solid- ... B001383L36) for $2.99 it was tagged with the MGS2 sticker and the dude sold it to me for that price. He tried to up sell me to the Substance edition but I didn't feel it was worth it. If it comes with the 2 MSX games, that makes it a lot more attractive. Did the oxbox MGS3:substance come with MG1&2?CRTGAMER wrote:Doe anyone click links? no. MGS3:substance was ps2 exclusive as opposed to MGS2:substance that appeared on both PS2 and oxbox.

Gamestop labels the single disc MGS box set version the same as the 2 disc one. There are a LOT of copies of the box set one, so you'll be looking for a while.CRTGAMER wrote:Doe anyone click links? My previous reply link: Its 15 bucks at Gamestop!

Actually in this case there is a separate SKU.AppleQueso wrote:Gamestop labels the single disc MGS box set version the same as the 2 disc one. If you are lucky the two disc will be the mislabeled as the $6.99 SKU

The correct $14.99 two disc SKU from my older Reply:
Either way a very good price!CRTGAMER wrote:A better deal at your local gamestop:

EDIT
Look for this $2.99 collector item, Document of Metal Gear Solid, lots of great stuff!

I think they should do remakes of the original Metal Gear 1 and 2. Maybe make both stories into one game. They are missing out on a gold mine IMO and the basis of the game/s is already there.

IDK if you would want to get it from GS. Since it's less than 5 bucks, they probably ditched the case if you do find it. I really hate them for ditching all the PS2 cases, now games I would pay their prices for, I avoid because I want the case and artwork for it.CRTGAMER wrote:

same here. Although I still find games under $5 with cases at GS. It's about half and half.Betamax001 wrote:

I'm not talking about Snake Eater, I'm talking about the single disc version of Subsistence that came with the MGS collection set. The one that only comes with one disc even though it says DISC 1 when you put it in.CRTGAMER wrote:Actually in this case there is a separate SKU.AppleQueso wrote:Gamestop labels the single disc MGS box set version the same as the 2 disc one. well there are two options (non-emulation ones) that let you play the MSX games.. get the original MSX versions which are damn expensive, or get MGS3 subsistence
i did that last thing and i dont regret it
