3DS is for suckers! PSP is 3D right NOW!

You guys are lucky to only spend $250 on your 3DS. Thanks to region locking, I am forced to buy the Japanese version, which will cost me $500. $300 MSRP + $200 because demand far outweighs supply.

Correct. I live in the USA and can speak both English and Japanese. So basically, I have a choice between English or Japanese games. I choose Japanese because they are generally better.

And since I live in the USA, there is no way for me to get a 3DS for their normal $300 price. I have to pay extra money for someone in Japan to send it to me.

Shape Boxing 2, on the Japanese Wii, costs around $50 normally but it would cost me around $70-$80 because I have to import it. I usually don't buy my Japanese games brand new because it's so damn expensive but I will make an exception if I don't want to wait a few years for prices to drop.

I see. I'll agree with you on that one. I think if I was fluent in both, I'd go for the Japanese one myself.

Well I'm off to Manchester tomorrow to get some hands on time with the 3DS. I was discussing this the other day, how it's more likely to get me to not buy the 3DS. Amusing. If the 3D effect doesn't work for me then I will be forced to cancel my pre-order.
