However, I really liked the art style of the Sunset/Silhouette levels (where foreground is black). This game also brought a lot of new platforming ideas into the mix with things such as the foreground/background movement and interactive environments. I think they also did a great job on the minecart and flaming rocket barrel levels, they captured the hectic pace really well. This game also has a TON of replay value with level collections, time trial, and mirror mode. All in all a great game, but I think a notch below the SNES games... they really should contract David Wise to compose the music for the next game

Re: Donkey Kongs
^I would agree for the most part; I was just excited that it was another DKC game (and hopefully another to follow). I have to say I was pretty disappointed that the Kremlings and K. Rool were gone; the new enemies were good enough but I don't think they had as much personality and flair. I also missed the animal buddies (at least Rambi was in it it... and Squawks kinda lol) and underwater levels. Not sure whether I like the hidden puzzle pieces in Returns or collecting the DK coins from the SNES games. The soundtrack was also somewhat weak (aside from the Country SNES remixes).

Re: Donkey Kongs
Any thoughts on DK Classic NES (GBA)?
