I've been extremely happy with my TG16. I played a lot of games for it with my friend growing up because he had damn near all of the U.S. releases and some PCE ones because his dad worked for NEC and always had the latest games/accessories. Let me recommend some of the ones I loved playing the most when I was younger:

Neutopia - Awesome Zelda-esque game.
Military Madness - Really fun strategy game.
Alien Crush & Devil's Crush - Fantastic pinball games.
The Bonk games (Adventure, Revenge, Big Adventure) - Fun & unique platformers.
Air Zonk - Quirky schmup starring Bonk.
Any Schmup on the console really.
Keith Courage in Alpha Zones - Gets really fun during the alternate levels (Robot).
Bomberman - If you have the Turbo Tap for multiplayer it's always a blast.
Splatterhouse - This game (beatemup) rocks.

I've been enjoying my small collection of Alien Crush, Legendary Axe, Ninja Spirit, & New Adventure Island but the games listed above are one's I really want to get a chance to play at my leisure once again. (Old friend still plays his plus has turbo tap & arcade stick so every now and then we get together for some schmups, Bomberman, or Military Madness)

I'm sorry but the snes can't handle a lot of things on the screen at once. I guess the Super Nintendo just can't handle the awesomeness of Gradius.

The snes doesn't have blast processing.
the snes cpu was only 3.58 MHz. while the Genesis was running at 7.67 MHz. the duo can run from 1.79 to 7.16 MHz (switchable by software).

I'm definitely getting those.

My brother downloaded Bomberman 94 off of the Virtual Console and it's really fun. I'll probably end up getting the American release of Bomberman (I think it's Bomberman 93). Gotta look into that turbo tap. :)

I'm almost 100% it was 93 but I can't quite remember. Regardless it was fun as hell with a good group of friends. I usually see a few of the turbo taps listed between 10 to 30 USD on ebay as buy it now prices whenever I'm browsing TG16 items. Eventually I have to get around to snagging one of those too.
