Limitations, boobs, and why I miss the monochrome GB
Now that's a title that'll fetch readers! :D

It's nice to see someone also appreciate the way the GB sprites were small but had just enough detail. The Mario sprite is tiny in Super Mario Land but it looks like Mario.

Wait, Spider-Man is actually the one and only game they did do right. Spider-Man: Return of the Sinister Six for NES, I'm assuming. Or is there another Spider-Man game they made?

By today's standards, it's pretty dated. But in the days of NES, it was a well made game. Bright, vivid colors, unlike most of LJN's games which are blah looking. A decent storyline, for NES standards. And great stage bosses ripped straight from the comics. There was also fun gameplay, something almost unheard of in an LJN game.

I also agree with The Punisher comment. That was a great game, and the my first experience with an on-rails shooter.

I haven't played the GB ones, I know of them though. But I was pretty sure Return of the Sinister Six was the only NES Spider-Man game. What are the other ones?

i was referring to Spider-Man: Return of the Sinister Six for NES, and yes The Punisher was a great game indeed. :)

LJN also published Spider-Man/X-Men: Arcade's Revenge on the SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, and Game Gear. I must admit that it's one of my least favorite Marvel-based games on the SNES, but when it's being compared to titles like X-Men: Mutant Apocalypse and Marvel Super Heroes in War of the Gems, well, it never really had a chance. It's still better than the shoddy port of Captain America and the Avengers, but that's not saying much.

Also, I've played Aliens 3, and it was better than I expected.
