I used to love the dual shock controller as I said.

It is in no way anywhere near as good as the 360 controller. The ps3 controller is lightweight and cheaply made, its also sized for childrens hands, my 2 year old can hold the ps3 controller fine.
You are completely off your rocker with this one.. The xbox has one of the worst D-Pads of all time.. Not to mention the triggers do nothing for most genres except FPS games..
the ps controller is in no way better for racing games, the xbox you use the triggers its natural, ps you have to use the sticks which is awkward.
The Dual Shock 3 has triggers are you kidding me with this one? You can use the dual sticks, triggers, or go old school with O and X..
My hand gets terrible cramps after an hour or so on the ps3 but can play hours on end with the xbox controller.

i have to say i'm surprised as your the first to ever have said the ps3 controller is better.

I am not starting arguments I am simply telling the truth, I have bought all my consoles with my own money and the games and the big plasma tv's to play them on.
I have big hands and have never had problems with the Dual Shock 3.. Both the DS 3 and 360 controller are cheaply made and break if they hit the ground the wrong way.. I've had Xbox controllers fail on me mechanically, but never had a problem with PS controllers.. I'll say that both suck with fighting games, but the PS3 is slightly better because of the D-Pad.. I prefer the Dual Shock 2.. Most people agree that PS has had some great controllers in past generations from ps1 and ps2..
I really don't know what you're talking about with this one.. Most people agree that Sony has made great controllers and much better than Xbox.. Not to mention the high failure rate of MS mouses and keyboards for the PC.. And I notice a common theme with Xbox fans spewing fanboyism to anyone who criticizes the Xbox for anything...

I find that hard to believe. You sound like HAL.

And let me mention this.. I'm no huge fan of the Dual Shock 3 either.. I thought it was stupid to put triggers on the existing controller and they should have kept the exact same layout from the PS2, but I realize that this is an FPS generation and if one is going to play one with a controller, triggers help..

the ps3 triggers are not very good, they are very small and in an unnatural position for me. The 360 ones are better, they are essentially as good as the DC's triggers and placed correctly.

The D pad is used for what selecting a gun or something. Why would I use a d pad to play a modern games console? If I wanted to use a d pad to play games I would use one of my older consoles.

PS3 triggers are crap compared to the sticks on the ps3 pad and using the x or o button, why when its a new console and I want to use the available technology.

Your hands clearly are not as large as you think then, the 360 controller is larger and therefore fits bigger hands better the stick placement is far better. When I hold the ps pad and want to operate the sticks if I put them naturally my thumbs touch therefore I have to move my hands to an awkward position where its not easy to get the other buttons therefore my hands cramp up quickly. And yes i know the actual placement of the buttons, sticks etc are the same dimensionally the actual controller casign is what makes the difference and the more natural position for the left stick on the 360 is better.

I have not had any issues with xbox controllers or the ps3 controllers either. I did however have a lot of problems with ps1, ps2, snes, N64 and various sega controllers but thats another issue entirely.

Again as I already said I used to love the ps controller they were amazing, far better than the saturns or the N64's IMO. the PS was the biggest revolution in gaming, the console the pads excellent then the dual shock came out and it was unbeatable. However thats when I had 12 year old hands...

I own all three, but I love my playstation. I play on xbla but the general vibe of players always gets under my skin. I watch a ton of blurays so there is a strong point for you. God of War 3 was a masterpiece I played this year and I am waiting for The Last Guardian above all other games, so I am set. Most likely I will not be picking up a 360 game until Gears of War 3.

The 360 is the video game equivalent to a Hummer. Its big, loud and American. I had one for 6 months and could never get into it (I had live, too), so I traded it for a PS3. I've had that for almost 2 years now. Well, I'm afraid thats all I know about the 360.

EDIT: I forgot to mention how sometimes, when I trade or sell things I sometimes end up regretting it. I have never regretted this. I use this console so much.
