Eventually it would be nice to have one of these bundles be something like "pick any X of these games" so that people could either pick up several copies of a given game to gift to several friends and/or avoid any games purchased previously in other similar bundles.

It's not really a big deal, though. All games are DRM-free, so you can just send them to whoever you want. It's up to your conscience to make good use of your download key.

Now that I think of it, as this is another of those "choose what you pay for it" I can just adjust the amount for the 3 I do not have rather than the all 5 as well.

I thought it might be a fixed value pack like the Summer bundles.

So Notch donated $2000 for this. Glad to know the $15 I gave him is going to a good cause :P

I'm glad Linux users are donating just a bit more; great games for an otherwise ignored OS.

Bought its, only payed 3 dollars as I already have Braid / Machinarium, and am only really interested in Osmos. Its a bit more then what Osmos was on sale for when the new Games for Windows Live Marketplace launched, so I think thats okay. Gave most of it to charity too.

Edit: Games are now activatable on Steam and / or Desura!

Bumping this up with some new news!

Anyone who has already purchased The Humble Indie Bundle 2 gets the first Humble Indie Bundle free!

Anyone who has not purchased yet is not out of luck though! Any new customers that decide to donate a minimum of $7.33 USD get the first Humble Indie Bundle as well! Its called the Bundle in Bundle!

More details: http://www.humblebundle.com/bundle-in-bundle

I donated some more on top of my initial purchase to surpase 7.33, as even that is an insane price for 11 games.

Adding the first bundle is really nice of them and makes this extremely good value for money.

Note that I think you need to pay over the current average to get the bundle within a bundle, which is a fun idea to keep raising that average.

You do, I should have mentioned. The current average is 7.32, thus needing minmum 7.33 for new buyers.

So this only applies to those who have not yet purchased the bundle? I purchased on day one and was pleasantly surprise they threw in more games :P
