Sounds decent and very cheap. Where can I buy one of these? I searched on Google and ebay and couldn't find anything. The name "Genesis Device" is terrible when it comes to search engines.

This appears to be it:

However, it's currently sold out. If you read the article, "Genesis Device" is just the term they came up with to refer to it.

The Genesis Device kind of sounds like it should be sought after by super villains. Probably a supervillain named The Sega Arcade Master!.

something tells me i won't like the controller, especially that yellow d-pad.
I have a famiclone that uses that same mold for the 1st player controller. It's garbage.

I must say that I like this arcade stick for the Sega Arcade Master. If anyone buys this, please post a review of it here and/or on YouTube for us skeptical bunch. 8)

Yeah, I noticed that and also tried to search with the actual name, but still couldn't find a store that would ship to me. Thanks for the link.

Yup, I'm with you on that.

I also just recently came across the Sega Genesis Arcade Master in Fry's Electronics and it really caught my eye. It seems like a nice, quick and dirty way to get some Genesis gaming going, with room for "expansion."

The only video I could find was this:
"New Sega Genesis Arcade Master Firecore Play games off SD card! "

Although this is the only video I found, it's pretty comprehensive and does a good job of showing all the functionality.

In the comments, however, there's some complaints about the joystick being flimsy/loose.

From video description:
"The Sega Genesis Firecore Arcade Master has 26 Sega Genesis games built into a 6 button Arcade Stick.
SD card slot to play Sega Genesis .bin Roms off an SD card.

No second controller port, Can't play 2 player games
RCA white yellow input
Sound on this system sucks

Games Included:
Alex Kidd
Alien Storm
Altered Beast
Arrow Flash
Chakan
Comix Zone
Columns
Columns III
Crack Down
Eternal Champions
Flicky
Gain Ground
Golden Axe
Golden Axe III
Jewel Master
Kid Chameleon
Streets of Rage
Streets of Rage 2
Shinobi III
Shadown Dancer
Sonic Spinball
Sonic 3D Blast
The Ooze
Vectorman
Vectorman 2
Virtua Fighter II"
