I concur. I've had the system and RS since they came out. I'm thankful DieHardGameFan magazine previewed it so I knew about it (Internet game news wasn't as good as the mags back then).
Ah Radiant Silvergun, few games have kicked my ass so thoroughly. I find Ikaruga to be much harder though. It's like my brain just isn't wired in a way that can get used to that whole color switching thing

It helps once you figure out how to absorb the pink bullets and use them to power up, and once you realize that your ship is invincible everywhere except the cockpit. Then the difficulty goes down from "are you insane??" to just "man, this is way too hard."

lol I'm playing in Saturn mode up past level ten on all weapons and still having trouble. With 9 lives and 3 continues. Man I suck. But I'm learning the bosses and starting to get perfects on them.
