Shipping from Japan to US over 16 ounces BANNED

Holy fuck. I buy tons of stuff from Japan all the time so this really pisses me off. They better fucking get rid of this bullshit asap. I don't buy American video games so if I can't get them from Japan, I can't get them at all.

This may discourage some Japanese sellers from doing business with people in the USA, which will really suck for everyone involved.

Don't panic, NCSX is based in New York, and Play-Asia in Hong Kong (I double checked their web site)

Just direct-japan shops are going to suffer being unable to do bigger orders.

95% of the games I buy are shipped directly from Japan, usually from Ebay sellers. Since I am a retro gamer, I mostly buy old games.

most game carts don't weigh anywhere near in the realm of 16 ounces, so you might be okay so long as you aren't trying to buy in bulk

9/11 and Homeland Security have made things so difficult for countries dealing with the US that they just say, "f$ck it, let's not even deal with them anymore." Blame the US leaders who are working towards "freedom" by imposing new travel restrictions and postal restrictions in the name of "security".

Reason I ask is because they offer means of contacting them about inquiries concerning international mail, but they apparently don't allow international calls. Would someone please contact them to inquire about the delay and try to get some info on it? Any information would be beneficial.

The number is 0120-5931-55 for their Customer Service Center. Apparently the phone number for English is 0570-046-111.

Yeah, the recession has hit the USPS hard. I've been seeing signs of the trouble there for more than a year now. Perhaps that's also why my recent mail service has been utter shit.
