The lighting in the room is really nice, it is calm.

Re: "i keep rearranging the damn living room"
is that a new geo on the top white shelf?
its huge! I forgot how big that thing is, and how come its controllers got a red button?
Can you show me how you manage the elecric wires for this thing, and the AV switch. I always wanted to know how many wires out there in a setup like this.
I have 2 consoles on a tv and things get complicated

yeah, that's the neo geo! it's not really TOO big, just about as long as a 360. :] the controllers have red buttons because they're neo-geo CD joysticks, which i actually prefer over the normal AES-model sticks. call me crazy, i guess!
the wires around the back of the cabinet are somewhat frightening, and are daisy chained across 5 (!) A/V switches on top of the cabinet. these will be replaced with a couple 8-input A/V switches not too long from now.
here are some unflattering pictures of the wiring regardless (pretend you didn't see these!):

i don't tie the wires up in the back because i don't want to strain them too much, and since i'll soon be re-wiring for new switches, no point in getting things permanent yet.

That room looks very comfy. It reminds me a lot of my room at my parents house back when I just got into college.

Bedbugs are a bitch.renardqueenston wrote:your advice actually helped! i decided to at least tame them with a bit of tape for now until i pick up some cable ties, and it looks much better. might as well tame 'em if i'm not gonna hide 'em! that little flick-on light also got replaced with a godzilla sign because godzilla owns.
totally! bedframes are such a hassle to move when you have to, i don't see the point! a mattress and a floor is just as comfy... and a lot cheaper! thanks!Mod_Man_Extreme wrote:I dig the bed on the floor Japan style. I've been meaning to do that and finally say goodbye to my crappy old bedframe.

It looks like an old switchboard with all those selectors? It is hard to use?

Do you have any recommendations for av switch, I have a problem too with component and composite wires here.
Plus is it or is it NOT dangerous to have so many electric plugs all together like this?

Glad I am not the only one with so many wires, I hate em but no where to tuck 'em.
