The Japanese release hit the web on the 13th, followed by an English patch on the 14th. The US release hit on the 15th. Whenever someone is playing a game a good few days before the release there's only ever 2 explanations -- a store got it shipped early and began selling (which rarely, if ever happens on first party Nintendo games), or they downloaded the release on the internet. :p

Or the fact that I live in Japan and sometimes get stuff earlier. It's not always been the case. Since I moved here, ironically, Nintendo started releasing stuff in NA & EU regions first. WTF happened to the "dream of living in Japan"?

does anyone know if you can get a gold status on that first dragon boss? I tried a few times, but I could never get enough jewels, I can only get silver status completion

does anyone know if gold is possible and if so, suggestions on how to get it?

I read the review on IGN, and from the description it sounds like it's basically impossible to die. I'm not into trying to get 100% in games which seems like the only way to add challenge of any sort. Would there be any point in buying this game just to play through it from beginning to end?

a game doesn't need to be challenging to be fun! playing through a game to have fun with the powerups, the level designs, and the presentation can be what makes a game great.

I think that a game needs some challenge to be fun (at least for the long haul). It doesn't need to bust your balls like Abadox. Can a game be fun without challenge? (ie. GTA or Saint's Row with cheats enabled) Yes, but it'll get boring easily.

Here's an example: Whenever I play a sandbox game (ie. GTA or Saint's Row) I can only pick on the civilians for so long. After about ten minutes I start busting caps in cops' asses because I want someone who fights back.

The games I played are great, but Kirby sucks (the character is cute, I mean that he vacuums).

I've only just started it. I think it's pretty fun, albeit really easy.

Does anyone know who the narrator is/what he's from? I recognize the voice but can't think of where I've heard it before...
