Nope, I'm against it mostly; I like the human factor. However, there are some things that I think would warrant a challenge. Maybe one per game per team. Such as the Galarraga-Joyce play earlier this season. However, in that case, I feel like Selig should have overturned the call. He's the one for instant replay and he's the one that wants the calls right; why didn't he make one of the biggest umpiring mistakes ever right?

I'm for instant replay because it gets the call right. If they have instant replay for homeruns why can't they have it on the base-pads? The game may be a little bit longer, but thats about it. If your team got screwed by a call that may potentially have cost them the game, how would you feel that the umps got the call wrong? This is how I feel. I can see why people are against instant replay though. One problem I see with instant replay though is if they do expand it for the base-pads, some people might lobby to have instant replay for balls and strikes. Now that would suck. A baseball game would take forever if that happened.

At first I was upset that Selig didn't reverse the Galarraga call, but lets be honest what would anybody gain from it if he did reverse the call. Galarraga wouldn't be able to celebrate with his teammates and fans after the game. He wouldn't be able to go back and relive the moment. I guess he would be in the record books.

That wasn't even the biggest miscall against the Tigers this year... A clear outside pitch was called a strike 3 to end the game on a full count and bases loaded... This would have tied the game and forced a bottom of the 9th if not won the game for the Tigers against the Braves.. There have been a bunch of bad calls this season and one last night which was a huge SB by Buster Posey that ended up being the winning run.... I think there should be replay in baseball but I think both teams should have 3 challenges.. 1 for every 3 innings each game..

Looks like Philly is going to win again... Can anyone beat H2O in the NL or should we just crown them now?

Also does anyone else think the TBS broadcast teams are brutal?

I hate FOX more. Because of Joe Buck. He barely knows anything about baseball, and only got into the business because his dad was amazing.

He really is terrible. Him and McCarver. I wish FOX Sports broadcasting would go away.

He sucks at Football too. Biggest boob in broadcasting outside of Matt Millen.

My second favorite team is the White Sox, then third is the Rays. So I'll be wearing my old Devil Rays hat around for a while more.

First things first, how can you have three favorite teams? Second, how can you be a Cubs fan and a Sox fan?? Third, a old Devil Rays hat??? The team is only like 12 years old.

1. I can like as many teams as I want to, thanks.
2. I started watching baseball when I was four, when I had an early bedtime, so I could only watch the Cubs as they had day games. My dad's a White Sox fan though. Honestly, I don't see why you HAVE to hate the other side. I only root against the Sox when the Cubs are playing them. ;)
3. Old as in, before they switched their name and logo from the Devil Rays to the Rays.

There was also the homerun that was a foul ball and reviewed and still called a HR. And you won't ever have review for balls and strikes and you shouldn't.

The biggest issue I have with "challenges" is what if say for the Joyce/Gallaraga thing that Leyland uses all his challenges before then? Then the right call doesn't get made because there were close calls or screw ups before that?
