And now it's time for my opinion (yay). The Wii is going to sell the most and also be my console of choice. It's selling well initially, which will lead to 3rd party support. Already we've seen big announcements from Konami, Capcom, and SE is starting to come around. EA, Ubisoft, and Sega have already put a few games out there. People say the PS3 is going to slowly pick up speed, but I don't see that happening. If all the 3rd parties leave, and sony doesn't have a ton of 1st/2nd party stuff, where are the games coming from? The 360 has been doing well, but it is still ice cold in Japan. People can say what they want, but Japan is still too big to ignore.

yeah, I'm seeing the PS3 with 3rd party support on track with the Gamecube. The GC received ports of the big multi-platform games, but that was about it. Although, at least they don't have a kiddie image like the Cube had.

Metal Gear Solid 4 is a PS3 exclusive still, as well as Final Fantasy XIII and Vs. XIII. The main series of Final Fantasy will always remain an exclusive on a Sony system because well... Sony is the reason Square is still around. I don't know if anyone remembers what happened with the spirits within, you know, that movie that nearly bankrupted Square. Sony was the one to bail them out.
Besides, when it comes to games, Sony is banking on sequels and I'm fine with that. If you want something original and quirky you can always get the Wii or 360.

If SNK supports the wii to the extent it is rumored, and if they release a suitable joystick, the Wii could take off even moreso than now. Granted there are other things they should have done already, ie a kalleria like system so you can play the VC games online...weve had it on emulators since the late 90s.
Granted watching that Halo 3 leak made me curious about that, and if the petition to get the RSX enabled in Yellowdog on the PS3, well I might have to get one of each. I mean whats not to love about a fully functional mame pc for $500? Granted my shuttle does it but making PS2 controllers work with it is kinda touchy feely...

It's all about the mass market strategy.
No middle-aged women are going to buy a 360.
The hardcore gamers may enjoy the 360 more, but they will probably own a Wii as well.

I think this might have something to do with it.
That and they still can't get the supply met after five months.

Yep, stores around West Palm are always low if not out of stock.

Square Enix Confirms FFXIII Is Not Exclusive To PS3
http://www.ps3center.net/story-394.html - Yea, like that's reputable. It doesn't even give the actual quote that sparked this controversy.FFXI on 360 & PC
- It's an MMORPG, your argument would be better if XII came out on the XBOX as well.FFIII on DS
- Uber remake from a the NES system on a new Nintendo system.FF1-6 ('cept 3)I on GBA
- NES/SNES in the first place, big step there.FFVII & FFVIII on PC
- PC... point? It's an open platform!
The multiple games in development as part of Square's Final Fantasy XIII project will not be limited to PS3 and mobile releases, Square Enix's Motomu Toriyama has reportedly confirmed.
Six games in total are expected in the project which Square calls Fabula Nove Crystallis, and we could see FFXIII games appear on Nintendo and Microsoft consoles.
FFXIII
Games. This is the biggest misinterpretation of a quote I've ever seen. Just like XII's side story is on the DS, "Revanant Wings", and FFVII's side stories go from DVD-PS2-Mobile Phone-PSP... That's what he's trying to say. It's a main game with side stories. Squenix is on this kick lately and you can bet on it all going down like this. I'm not trying to tote PS3 exclusivity like a rabid Sony fan, but come on, at least research what you're saying first. One part may go to 360, another part to the Wii, but I can only see the main attraction actually staying on the PS3.
