I'm going to start a new thread for this pic of my Castlevania collection. I think this one is dead.

And I actually liked LoI as well, if nothing else for the music.. CoD did a better job in the gameplay department, though..

I pre-ordered the limited edition on the 360 and the PS3. When a review comes out the day of or a day before, I'll make my decision on which one to pick up. But it will probably be PS3.csgx1 wrote:That's not being young. It's called being hardcore Castlevania fan.Flake wrote:We all make mistakes. I love almost all castlevania games. I even really enjoyed the game/s on the n64. the controls were the opposite of good, but still playable imo. It made for some frustrating times for sure, and although I've never beat it...it's worth a play through. Anyway, I'll possibly be getting this game, I really want to see what the actual gameplay is like. I'm hoping for the best!

When I have the money I will be getting the 360 version because I don't have a PS3.

Wow, I don't know why I have never seen the trailer for this one before but OMG this is amazing. Will definitely have to pick up a copy on the 360 (no PS3 love in our house).

I've looked at some reviews but none of them recommend one version over the other. I think I'm just going with PS3. Hey, it's just one disc, I guess? But Xbox always seems to get DLC first. Maybe Konami will treat the systems fairly?

Anyone play the demo?
I want it. That's all I can say after playing it. The combat seems smart and god damn does it look good. Day 1 here.

Don't that just look oh so tasty?

I'll try to play through the demo tomorrow.
At first I wasn't really sold on the idea of this game, because I love 2D Castlevania, and the third-person view alone made me shy away a bit. On top of that, the trailers that I saw didn't really look very Castlevania-y... but after playing Metroid: Other M this week, I guess it wouldn't hurt to give the new Castlevania a shot. If they can make 3D Metroid good, whats to stop 3D Castlevania from being good?
Also, not for nothing, but the trailers for this game totally give me a Willow vibe. Don't know what it is, but Madmartigan is a badass, so I guess it can't be all bad.
