I don't think so.. but what I was thinking of is very similar to that. I don't think you were able to shoot any projectiles in the game I'm thinking of.CRTGAMER wrote:brunoafh, was Pyrotennica that mystery game?

Re: MSDos gaming of the 90s
Wow a nice selection of games there Bruno. I have played every single one of those games either in full or at least a demo of them. When I was young, my mom found this cd-rom at a garage sale that had 200 game demos, which included all of those in some shape or another. When I was young, I made a list of the games I wanted to buy, including games like One Must Fall 2077, Catacomb Abyss (although it frustrated me all the hidden passageways you had to find), yes...Skunny Kart! I obsessed over that game as a youth, playing the demo over and over again until my eyes bled. The game had a battle mode with an AI character. It was pretty much a Mario Kart Clone, but I loved every single second of it!
even an early demo of the Elder Scrolls: Arena where you had *GASP* a PARTY!!!!
ahhh those were the days.

King's Bounty.

It ended up being ported to the Genesis and was the predecessor to the Heroes of Might and Magic games. It was updated on PS2 as Heroes of Might and Magic: Quest for the Dragon Bone Staff.
Sega-16 wrote an okay review about it, but it doesn't really do it justice. http://www.sega-16.com/review_page.php? ... s%20Bounty
