the Wave Bird is great! no doubt. it has a permanent spot on my coffee table. minty platinum, from GS for $15! too good a deal to pass up. I use it a lot for emulation on the Wii. B A X is a good Genesis A B C and the nice tight d-pad works well for shootemups. battery life is very impressive, and I've never had a problem with the signal. very comfy in the hand, well suited for hours of gaming

it's... it's just great.

The Wavebird is an awesome controller; I have a full set of 4 of them, and they're perfect for parties. It also looks really cool when they're all plugged in to the Gamecube.

I got it as a gift, and while I really like the novelty of not having a wire, I don't really get why it is loved so much.

I love wireless controllers, but you are treating this damn wavebird like some sort of god.

Rumble is defiantly not a necessity for me.

are you just not a fan of the GCN controller?

I think the layout on the standard is great. But the WB adds extra bulk to it that makes it feel more comfortable in my (slightly large) hands. Also, I really don't care about rumble.

The regular GCN controller is hands down my favorite controller of all time. The analog sticks feel excellent, and don't have the buttons built into analog sticks (I hate that!). The L and R buttons have the extra digital buttons which are great if used correctly (Super Mario Sunshine!). The A/B/X/Y layout is PERFECT. The way your thumb sits on the A button and just rolls to hit the X/Y/B buttons! The L and R buttons are rounded and your fingers don't slip out of them, and they are positioned just perfectly! Even the screw holes are the back were done perfectly. I find my middle finger resting in the screw hole every time.

I've never had or used a Wavebird. They're too expensive! But I really want one!

The only flaw I can see without owning one is they decided to make two colors. But the two colors are extremely similar, while the regular controller has three distinctive colors.

All time favorite of mine would be the Playstation. I know that the best game console at an affordable cost is Nintendo Wii. If you want a more realistic game play, go for Microsoft XBox 360.

Not a fan. I love wireless but after getting used to many, many games on the cube with rumble, the games feel incomplete without them.

The gamecube controller is the best of any controller i have ever had the pleasure of using. I totally agree with slowslow325, the layout is just perfect. And this is coming from a sony junkie :P
