As modman points out though, not regular ones but good akalines or lithiums.

Rayovac SUCKS learn the truth and get used to it.

Seriously though, I run timed tests on all my stuff when I first get it and nothing is better than a good set of Energizers or Panasonic Alkaline Plus batteries.
